Meet Kirsten
Our CEO and Founder
Kirsten attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Behavior Analysis, a field of psychology with a minor in Family Studies. She also holds a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis from Capella University. Kirsten has been working with children since she began her bachelor’s degree at Eau Claire in 2007. During her time in college Kirsten worked with special needs children through a clinic on campus as well as in daycare. Additionally, Kirsten volunteered her time to be a site coordinator through Blugold Beginnings, working in elementary schools to provide afterschool tutoring and support to elementary school students. Kirsten created Stepping Stones to bring a small-scale, personable but high-level daycare to her area. Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs.

Meet Cami
Our Director
Cami Jensen is the center director at Stepping Stones Early Childcare. She recently graduated from Saint Norbert College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in
Psychology. Cami has been working with children since she was a Junior in high school. During Cami’s time in high school she worked with children in the YMCA swim program, as well as volunteered with special needs children and adults at the YMCA.
In the early years of Cami’s time in college, she worked at the before and after school daycare program through the YMCA providing tutoring and mentoring to students ages 6 and up. Cami worked with students on the autism spectrum before becoming involved at Stepping Stones Early Childcare. Cami loves working at Stepping Stones to help create a positive and caring learning environment for families to bring their children. Outside of work, Cami enjoys spending time with her friends and family,
as well as being active outside and indoors.
